Reduction in fuel consumption

Thanks to FuelSaving technology and its innovative rubber compound, energy dispersion is lowered. This results in an 18% reduction in rolling resistance (4), leading to a decrease in vehicle fuel consumption.

Shorter braking distances

Reducing the risk of aquaplaning is a challenge met by the VanContactWinter tyre through its wide grooves that very efficiently expel excess water on the road. Moreover, each block is supported by 3D sipes, resulting in a noticeable improvement in tyre stability. Consequently, braking distances are significantly reduced on wet roads.

The European tyre labelling has awarded it an A rating, the highest rating in terms of wet grip.

Improved wet braking and reduced rolling resistance
