The tyre-road connection is enhanced through ActiveBraking technology. This results in minimized braking distances, with improvements of up to two meters or 8% on wet roads (2) and 3% on dry surfaces (3).

By adorning the VanContactWinter with a renewed tread pattern designed to better grip the snow, the goal of minimising braking distances is achieved. By significantly compressing the crystals in the grooves and shoulder blocks, the grip on snowy roads is remarkably improved, resulting in superior traction on snow.
