The Twaron Belt

Designed in nylon and aramid, Twaron belts ensure better stability at high speeds. Its variable tension allows it to tighten the center of the tread more closely than the shoulder, thus better controlling centrifugal force and distributing the force more evenly.

BI-COMPOUND TECHNOLOGY

Featuring a tread pattern with two different rubber compounds for the inner and outer zones, the Pilot Sport PS is a tyre boasting top-notch grip whether the road is dry or wet.

Variable Contact Patch 2.0

The grip proves to be perfectly effective in high-speed corners as well as in a straight line. When cornering, if the shape of the contact area changes, the amount of rubber in contact with the ground will not decrease. Benefiting from the latest digital simulation software used in automotive and aviation, Michelin's Pilot Super Sport enjoys a force and temperature distributed more evenly across the contact surface.

Tires more sport-oriented than versatile, I use them every day, but they wear out quite quickly, so they are more suitable for weekend driving. But their behavior when they are hot is really outstanding, they don't move at all. Remarkable precision, but more intended for weekend use than for everyday use.

Excellent tires, effective until the end! 4 Michelin Pilot Super Sport mounted on my Cayman S, the car's behavior is perfect. Used on the road in (very!) sporty driving, as well as on the track during Track Day. I have driven 15,000 km with these tires and was completely satisfied with them. Today I have reached the wear indicator, the grip is still good. I just ordered the same ones for the rear axle. The front ones are still okay.
