The Pilot Sport CUP 2 is a road-approved track tyre, ranked among the best in terms of dependability. Track Longevity 2.0® technology ensures improved durability and endurance. This tyre features two different rubber compounds. On the inside, you have an elastomer that provides exceptional grip, and, on the outside, there's a more rigid elastomer that adheres to wet ground.

Bi-compound technology

Between the inner and outer tread, two different compounds are distributed.
Inside, the latest generation of elastomers ensures excellent grip on wet surfaces, allowing the tyre to break the water film along the roughest surface of the road.
Outside, a new elastomer reinforced with carbon black from the 24 Hours of Le Mans provides perfect endurance in corners.

A deeper tread

Compared to the product from the previous generation, its tread is 20% deeper, which minimises the risk of aquaplaning and increases safety on wet roads.

Track Longevity Technology 2.0

Reducing shoulder wear on tyres, the Track Longevity 2.0 technology also offers the tyre a longer lifespan on the track.
